DATES FOR YOUR DIARY 2024 / 2025:
- Dec 7 – Decoration of the village Christmas trees from 3pm onwards. Bring your Christmas decorations! Mulled wine, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies will be served in the salle des fêtes afterwards
- Jan 2025 – On a Saturday in January, you will be invited to the salle des fêtes to partake of a « galette des rois », (which traditionally celebrates Epiphany, the arrival of the Wise Men on Jan 6) and is the moment when the Mayor presents his best wishes for the New Year to all the inhabitants of the commune and also outlines some of the things that we can expect to see during the year.
« Couvige » 16th September 2023
On 16 September, Palluaud hosted the biennial « couvige » (lace-makers’ fayre). Over 140 exhibitors associated with lace-making, amateur and professional, came from all over France to demonstrate their methods, skills and products.
